Actually, Simmons BeautyRest is a innerspring mattress and it does not conform to the sleeper’s body. Only visco elastic foam can do that, because it reacts on the temperature. So, you would not get the same surface with these two.
Thank you for your good words. I believe there are some good information on how to find a cheap mattress on this blog, you just need to dig through posts. There are some tips how to get a cheap mattress with Sleepy’s, by visiting local stores that are clearing their warehouses etc.
I wanted to make a series that would help people to find an affordable mattress in their hometown, but it is still somewhat big project at the moment, so I will have to think about it. But thanks for your input.
I love the video Chris made, and it would be a good thing for people to see it. I believe that anyone who can dedicate just one hour to find out about mattresses and mattress industry would save a lot of money. Just by watching that video from Chris an inexperienced person can learn a lot.
It really disturbes me for people to claim that Sealy, Stearns and Foster, Simmons has a organic all natural latex mattress. Nothing could be father from the truth. Their mattress are synthetic blended latex. Look at the law label it will say polyurethane. Anytime something is synthetic used in a mattress then chemical flame retardants must be used. Mountain Air Natural Beds carries only true organic all natural latex mattresses. We have organic certificates. There is so much green washing going on out there it only hurts the consumer. If you want to sleep cooler, get rid of your synthetic mattress and bedding.
